unsure if to return my Pm3

Hey,

I found my new KKmoon Proxmark3 in my mailvox today.

After some slight troubles with flashing at start I am already encountering some serious trouble:
initial situation: I try to clone a chip identified as EM4100, by pm3 as 41x.

Everything appears to be working fine:
eg.
lf search
lf em 410xread
lf em 410xsim
lf em 410xwatch
looks good,
*sim I did test with an other reader.

But upon:
lf em 410xwrite 01ABCDEF 1
on my t5577 the pm3  briefely flashses light A Green.
The command prompt returns to the "proxmark3>" instantly.

#db# Started writing T55x7 tag ...
#db# Clock rate: 64
proxmark3>
nothing else happens

only upon another
proxmark3> lf search
Sending bytes to proxmark failed
NOTE: some demods output possible binary
if it finds something that looks like a tag
False Positives ARE possible

Checking for known tags:

#db# Tag T55x7 written with 0xff8060bd1f2ef8ba

Sending bytes to proxmark failed
Waiting for a response from the proxmark...
You can cancel this operation by pressing the pm3 button

No Data Found! - maybe not an LF tag?

Alle the chips I try write to came with an EM4100 cloner from Amazon should be t5577-could this be the reason?
Using the cloner a few. seconds later works fine: pm3 and an other EM4100 reader show the correct, just written ID.

Please advise if/what  I should do continue experimenting with this pm3 or return it to Amazon?
Try another batch of t5577 target chips?
I did try 3 different Firware dated 2020 and the pm3 that came in the same srchive

Plesse advise-Thank you!?

Re: unsure if to return my Pm3

to answer my own question:
the pm3 is working fine,
the t55xx chips that came with the cheap cloner are likely password protected -out of the box already.

thanks anyway!
