651,.. You should flash the latest firmware on to your PM3.
This will most likely solve your problem.

i am trying with pm3-bin-756 (cdc+lua).rar but when i open proxmak.exe this close instantly (run as administrator), i need flash my proxmark first?

the safest way of dealing with problems with the proxmark is...

download latest software (v0.0.2), (compile it), flash it, try it and see what kind of problems is left.

If you just run "hf mf nested" it will give you the help texts. It will help you with the right syntax to run it properly.

If you look into this thread: http://www.proxmark.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=1562&p=1
you can download 0.0.2 for windows.
Otherwise just download the source code and compile it.

do you figured out the issue? me not.
I bought an american PM3 (proxmark.com) and it works fine. Same FW, same antenna, same PC and user brain: american works 100%, chineese don't work. They said maybe a connection issue between µC and FPGA... And 2 of 2 pcb are broken. No more XFPGA!

I've been using this PM3 for many years and it was built a long time ago by a colleague and performed consistently over it's life, so I don't think it has any hardware issues (yet).

Has anyone figured out where in the code this bug was introduced?

"hf mf mifare" hang... is same problem here.. with only one my card.

do you know which version of the code where it breaks for you? R852 works, but if you go backwards from the github or Aspers pre-compiled releases it would help very much to pinpoint it.

Unfortunately, I do not. It's been broken for a loooong time based on the timestamps of the posts in this thread. I suspect that the last time it worked was before the big re-write that changed the bootloader, but I haven't confirmed that. The problem for me is that OS X compiling was finicky/broken for quite a while so I do not have an easy way to recompile old versions as I am not particularly excited about creating a new dev environment just so I can compile old broken versions.

If someone has a linux environment with a more flexible development environment that can easily compile older versions, perhaps they would be willing to help isolate when it broke.

try hardnested if nested fails, or run nested several times.
