Hello World!

Hey guys,

I work in the cyber-security field and I have a side interest in physical access controls, such as RFID. I impulse bought a Proxmark 3 Easy a while ago to get an effective learning tool and I've been playing with it on and off since.

I travel a good bit for work, so I end up collecting a few hotel room keys to play with. Most of them are pretty standard Mifare Classic cards. However, one of them seems to be different and I haven't quite figured out what's going on with it. Iceman, if you're interested, here's what's happening: https://pastebin.com/raw/gyGsTndP (The Proxmark locks up completely during the "UART:: write time-out" messages and must be power cycled.)

Looking forward to interacting with the community!

Re: Hello World!

When did you flash the firmware? During the last week when I got mine the latest FW kept having timeout issues. The FW I flashed yesterday works fine now

Re: Hello World!

Welcome and thank you for reading the introduction post http://www.proxmark.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=1125.

Your access rights has been updated.

You can now post in the suiteable section.   Regarding issue,  to post on GH repo but quick look tells me you are running RDV4 compiled fw on a non-rdv4 device.  Try compiling with platform PM3OTHER (see repo for instructions)  and try again.
